Wow, I just accounted for some of my receipts I’ve been hoarding for a while now…and I’ve spent greater than $2,180.52 over the past years :( That could have paid 5% of my tuition… lulz
All those tiny amounts really pile up.
On a brighter note, I spent the last couple of hours building a puzzle with Ali, CJ, and Maddie :D Didn’t even finish it though.
We got much further than this.
Only writing this because I can’t sleep.
Too many activities today :( First I studied with my roommate all day until 5:25, then I had dinner with Catherine at 5:30 then we went to dance practice at 6:10. Embarrassing, but the dance is actually pretty fun. I really like the group too, so I’m sure it’ll all be worth it in the end. We danced until 7ish and then Cath and I had to catch the Woman in Black with Lo and Jacobi at 7:50! Before we left, we wanted to join our friends for some tapioca at a social that was being held, but we only stayed for like 5 minutes before we had to leave for the movies. Lo wanted ice cream so we got some before we watched the movie. During the movie, it was hilarious seeing Lo and Jacobi with their hoods on because they were so scared, and Catherine too! They (and surely I) were so terrified throughout the movie, even though it wasn’t even that bad. Anyways, after the movie, we got back to campus and decided to join the previous party in Hey Arnold!’s room. They were watching yet another movie and we stuck around to finish it. Our other friend even gave us tapioca and cream puffs! She was so nice :D. After the movie ended, everybody started finger jousting. Not familiar? Google it. I played against Ginaynay and Victor, and they were the most challenging opponents. We seriously did that for a good 23479837 hours. We also played jenga so the whole night wasn’t really comprised finger jousting. Intense game! We left Hey Arnold!’s room at 2:14am, I think. It was really fun and I’m glad I got to hang out with friends. Victor was talking about going to eat at iHop a lot…and after we left the room, Cath, Vic, and I went to iHop and ate…a lot. Cath only had 1 meal so I guess she justified eating the crepe that she had. I had no excuse to eat though! I ate a bowl of fruit and Vic’s bacon and eggs anyways so maybe I didn’t really eat that much. Vic ended up paying for us, which was really nice, but he should know we’re all college financially burdened college students and that we should pay for ourselves! That was really nice of him though. We got back to campus at 4 and now i’m typing this. Day well spent? No, not in terms of academics, but if we’re talking social wise, sure it was well spent. Even so, I still regret spending most of my day socially and not academically :) BUUUUUT whatever. good night. can’t make up my mind

My essay grade is comprised of 1) my essay and 2) reviewing and revising 2 other people’s essays. I had to fill out this peer review form for this student’s essay and the last prompt was to say something nice. I did.
There was NOTHING nice to say about it. My roommate and I literally tore this person’s paper apart among reviewing it. Jacob even read the paper on the toilet because he said it was s***. hehe…
The student’s paper was about war and individualism. Here’s one of the sentences: “Music has remained one of the most irrefutable mediums of expression over time and can unite people, despite a great amount of disagreements.” What?! Music? I thought this was about war and individualism! Maybe I’m being a little harsh.
